Skull-shaped curio cabinet for tiny treasures

Inspired by letterpress case drawers, I wanted to make something that would feel like those dear old objects without being constrained by their drawer-ness. Something that would fit the practice of hanging these drawers on a wall to hold tiny treasures, without actually decomissioning any that might hold type. And what if some of the compartments were... round?? I saw the skull-shaped "drawer" in my mind and couldn't shake it, so I figured out how to build it! Here it is, ready for your treasured mementos and special items. 

• Full dimensions:
  Widest point: 39 cm (15 3/8”) 
  Highest point: 52.5 cm (20 3/4”) 
  Depth: 4 cm (1.5") from wall, spaces are 2.5 cm (1") deep
  Smallest square spaces: 2.5 x 2.5 cm (1 x 1”) (bottom row of teeth is slightly shorter)
  Eye spaces, interior diameter: 10.5 cm (4 1/8")
  
• 49-71 spaces, depending on how you count the little nooks!
  
• Pine ebonized with a steel wool and vinegar solution that changes the chemistry of the wood itself
• Keyhole hangers on the back
