Merging the characteristics of paper and textiles I've woven linen, cotton, and paper together to capture the slice of the Swedish winter that I can see out my studio window. The hint of yellow is a bright yellow house that makes me smile amid the snow and ice; a strand of dark red is a line of roofs against the forest where branches have traded greens for hibernation brown. The shadowbox-style frame allows the piece to float.
