Paper grocery bag twisted into cord and woven through ribs of stripped and dried ivy vines. Someday, I would like to use this technique to make a traditional "hen basket" with offset looped handles in this shape. Designed to be hung on the wall and enjoyed purely for its texture and enjoyment of the material, the piece is strong enough that it could be used as a mat in a dry environment.
