This little curiosity cabinet features a unique integrated picture frame. I'm imagining a snapshot from a special day, surrounded with small tangible reminders of that moment. Ticket stubs, pretty rocks, wristbands, wine corks, anything. Or maybe a photo of someone you love with little artifacts that make you think of them.
Inspired by letterpress case drawers, I wanted to make something that would feel like those dear old objects without being constrained by their drawer-ness. Something that would fit the practice of hanging these drawers on a wall to hold tiny treasures, without actually decomissioning any that might hold type.
